HOW IT WORKS
A catalytic converter is an emissions control device installed in a vehicle’s exhaust system. Its primary function is to reduce harmful pollutants in the exhaust gases before they are released into the atmosphere. The catalytic converter contains a catalyst, usually made of Platinum, Palladium, and Rhodium, which facilitates chemical reactions to convert pollutants into less harmful substances.
