Cateran Inc Warranty
Cateran catalytic converters are designed to meet US federal EPA and Canadian EPA durability and performance standards for new aftermarket catalytic converters. Cateran Inc warrants that this catalytic converter is free of flaws in materials and workmanship and will conform to U.S. federal Environmental Protection Agency emission performance standards for a minimum period of 40,000km (25,000 miles) from the date of installation when the vehicle is properly used and maintained. Cateran Inc warrants that the stainless steel body and end pipes of the catalytic converter will last for a period of 5 years or 80,000km (50,000 miles) from date of installation, whichever comes first. At the end of the 5 years/80,000km or 40,000km period, whichever is applicable, all liability outlined in this limited warranty shall end. The front pipe and the manifold are warranted for 1 year or 20,000km.
Cateran Inc will replace any such defective converter provided that it is returned to an authorized dealer along with the proof of purchase and properly completed warranty certificate. If the warranty claim relates to emission performance, proof of failure of an emission test should be provided. Cateran Inc may request proof that the engine was tuned to original specifications and maintained in proper operating condition.
